NearSource Organics Raised Bed & Container Mix is built on a simple idea: the soil in your garden should not have to travel across the country to get to you. Ingredients are sourced regionally and the mix is produced close to where it is sold, which means fewer miles per bag, lower emissions, and a stronger connection between you and the place where your soil comes from.
The mix is formulated with a diverse range of particle sizes that work well for both raised beds and large containers. It is nutrient-rich and ready to use, with regional formulations that may include processed forest products, recycled forest products, arbor fines, humus, rice hulls, composted dairy manure, compost, horticultural perlite, dolomite lime, processed poultry manure, feather meal, earthworm castings, bat guano, and kelp meal. One bag fills approximately one 2 sq ft x 9 inch deep raised bed, or three 12 inch pots.
