How to Use Your Results

Soil settles over time and after watering. Adding a buffer ensures you won’t run short before your bed is full.

Layer in Amendments

Mix compost, perlite, or aged bark into your soil before filling. A good ratio is 60% topsoil, 30% compost, 10% perlite.

Measure Twice

Small errors in depth add up fast. Use a tape measure inside your bed frame for the most accurate fill depth.
